Start with your state. The course finder only shows course options currently returned for your selected site language.
Can I use my phone or tablet?
The website is designed to work on current phones, tablets, and desktop browsers. Course-specific requirements, if any, are shown with the course information.
Where do I log in after I enroll?
Use Student Login in the site header to continue to the secure course platform.
Are booklet courses available everywhere?
Booklet availability varies. The Booklets page checks the course platform for states with active booklet options.
How soon before my due date should I enroll?
We recommend enrolling at least 2 weeks before your court due date. You can complete the course at your own pace, but your deadline also needs to cover the steps after you finish: processing your completion, reporting it to the court, and any unexpected delays such as a busy work week, technical issues, or needing to retake the final exam. Waiting until the last few days puts you at risk of missing your deadline, and only the court can grant an extension. Check your court notice for your exact due date, and contact the court directly if you have questions about it.
California
How soon before my California court due date should I enroll?
We recommend enrolling at least 2 weeks before the due date your California court gave you. The 8-hour course can be completed at your own pace, but after you pass, your completion has to be processed and reported electronically so the court can confirm it before your deadline. Leaving extra time also protects you from unexpected delays such as technical issues or needing to retake the final exam. If you miss your due date, only the court can grant an extension, so check your court notice for the exact date and contact the court directly with any questions.
